The Miami International Autodrome is a purpose-built temporary circuit located around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Measuring 3.363 miles (5.412 km) with 19 corners, the track was designed by Apex Circuit Design for Formula One and debuted on the calendar for the 2022 World Championship. The layout combines long straights with tight technical sections, producing average speeds near 140 mph and emphasizing both braking performance and traction.

Development of the circuit began in 2019, with dozens of layouts evaluated and refined before final approval. Stadium owner Stephen Ross had pursued a Formula One race for several years, navigating local opposition and logistical challenges before the project was ultimately approved in April 2021. The circuit was officially named the Miami International Autodrome later that year.

Unlike traditional street circuits, the track is built entirely on private property using a mix of permanent and temporary surfaces integrated into the stadium grounds. Each year, the circuit and safety infrastructure are assembled ahead of race weekend and fully removed afterward, returning the venue to everyday use.
