The Spanish Grand Prix enters a new era in 2026 as Formula 1 returns to Madrid and the all-new Madring circuit. Located near the IFEMA Madrid exhibition complex, the 3.364-mile course blends public roads with purpose-built sections, giving it characteristics of both a street circuit and permanent race track. Its 22 turns include a variety of high- and low-speed corners, significant elevation changes and the spectacular banked Turn 12, known as La Monumental. Cars are expected to reach speeds near 211 mph on the circuit’s faster sections. The inaugural Spanish Grand Prix at Madring covers 57 laps and 191.6 miles, bringing Formula 1 racing back to the Spanish capital for the first time in decades.
