Darlington Raceway Forecast – May 2021 (NASCAR)

A slow-moving cold front is edging into upstate South Carolina. After this pushes across Darlington early Thursday, an area of low pressure is forecast to develop along the coast Friday morning. This coastal low will bring a chance of showers into the afternoon Friday, clearing out for some too tough to tame truck racing.

Over the weekend, a ridge of high pressure is expected to move across the area, keeping conditions dry – perfect for weekend of racing.
