A series of low pressure centers are forecast to move across the southeast US Friday and into the weekend. A cold front is expected to move across the Pensacola area Friday, which is forecast to bring a risk of showers and afternoon thunderstorms.

For Saturday, weak onshore flow will bring a chance of afternoon showers. By Sunday, the system is expected to move away from the area, leaving clearing skies for the Snowball Derby.
