and … Kallie!
Easter morning – It was Kallie’s first Easter with us and you knew she would have to get in on the action.
Petting Zoo – This was one weird petting zoo. It was in front of a dollar store and the “Easter Bunny” was there. So…photo op!
Bluebonnets - 2009 – Once again, we head towards Brenham, find some bluebonnets, get some Blue Bell ice cream and have a great day. Blue bell - A Texas tradition or was it a bluebonnets?
Flag Football – Various picture from Alex’s first flag football season. We did sign him up for Fall tackle too. (New pics!!!)
New pictures of Kallie (New pics!!!)
Alex and Kallie – We took some pictures over the past few days of Alex and Kallie. So here’s they are.

Bluebonnets and wild flowers – a spring tradition in Texas.
Memorable pictures
Finally done – After Ike, we decided to not only stop with fixing what needed to be fixed, but put some upgrades into the house that we have wanted. New paint, new flooring in the hallway and master bedroom, new dog – oh wait! She just went to the kennel for a few weeks, we brought her back. We have new blinds coming in for the office, but we’re pretty much done. (We found out that it’s only 3 Day Blinds if you pay extra for them.)
It’s been more than a week since Hurricane Ike made landfall. While we did sustain some damage and lost power for about 5 days, there were many more who are lost much more than we did. They are in our thoughts as the upper Texas coast rebuilds from Ike.
Before – These were pictures that Jennie took at sunset as Ike was approaching the Texas coast
After – After most of Ike moved through, we wandered out and took pictures.
CNBC debut (8/27/08) – Through my “new” job (been there almost a year), I have had the good fortune to get more media exposure. I made my CNBC debut as a weather analyst. However…the NBC meteorologist covered everything I was going to say, so I got stuck with a question about Hurricane Gustav’s potential impact on New Orleans.
Our Summer Trip to Florida – 2007 – This was the first time for both Alex and Aaron to go to Disneyworld. Jen was a pro who did all the research, so we let her lead. We hit so many different places and some more than once and had a great time. We’ll go back…we’re just not sure when.
- Character pictures – What’s a trip to Disney without character pictures?
- Epcot
- Busch race – It rained…and it rained…and it…well, you get the idea. We never did see that race. It was postponed until the next morning. We didn’t get back to the hotel until after midnight, so there was no way we were going back to Daytona for a full day with the Cup race that night.
